Tutorial : Doomsday Conquest

Doomsday Conquest is a periodic event that ends a season and lasts about 45 days.

As a reward for the event, you can get orange quality hero recruitment tickets. Which means that eventually you have a chance to have a basic orange hero, an S1 hero and maybe even S2 if your alliance score is high enough in the rankings. There are still better rewards if your alliance really excels in alliance ranking.

It takes a whole season to get enough points, so there are some priorities to focus on.

This event may be misunderstood as a personal event, as you will sometimes be competing with your alliance members. But remember that you will always have to act cooperatively to keep your fellows from falling behind and compromising the alliance's advancement over others.

There are 4 main goals to keep in mind:

  1. Gaining Honor, capturing territories on the map, and improving your buildings of honor
  2. gain influence, capturing higher and higher level territories to improve your rankings
  3. Increase your contribution score, by donating stone or completing quests
  4. unlock specializations in one of the 3 specialty trees (Resource, Construction, Combat)

When the event begins, your alliance must build a Level 1 Alliance Center, which requires members to donate Peter. It is usually better to begin the stone donations in preparation (before the beginning of the event Conquest of the Apocalypse).

The first center must be built in zone 4 (sand), the zone at the edge of the map. If you want to be quiet, preferably choose a corner where the strongest alliances will reach you hard to avoid having regular attacks from them. It is advisable to place your center in one of the 4 corners of the map because it will be easier to defend, we will explain why:

Each member will be able to teleport for free the first time (following the tutorial of the event).

It is advisable not to teleport by sticking to the center: it is better to leave space between your base and the center, to place the buildings of honor. In order not to fall into anarchy, it is better to leave the word to the R4 / R5 of your alliance to give you teleportation coordinates and organize the center as well as possible.

Notes:

  • If you do not want to participate actively in the event , you can still contribute to the defense of the center of your alliance by:
  • Teleporting your base near the center (not too close!)
  • Capturing a few “helpless” areas around the center anarchically so that an enemy can not teleport near the center

If you are an active alliance, it will be useless to leave your base near the center at first. Indeed, at the beginning of the event, your entire alliance will be close to center 1. The more members will advance, the more they will need to migrate to center 2, 3 or 4. So do not organize your defense with a basic positioning, but rather use the following trick.

To defend effectively, your main line of defense will be the buildings of honor that members will build. To optimize the space, we must arrive at this result:

A schematization of the defense optimization technique can be represented as follows:

  1. The blue zone represents the alliance center to defend
  2. The dark brown area represents the highest honor buildings with the highest health (Fight Command Post and Guardian Fortress)
  3. The light brown zone represents the other buildings of honor

Notes:

  • To place the buildings of honor, you will have to stick them in one of the boxes of the center, or next to another building. That's why it will take at least 1 building on the line that separates the dark brown zone from the light brown zone
  • Invite members who do not want to do the event! It is advisable to extend the defense zone as much as possible, by randomly capturing the territories around the rays, the aim being to prevent an enemy base from teleporting them. Blue areas are the areas captured by your passive allies or territories containing a resource (the red zone is an enemy that has managed to sneak! Avoid of course):

Once you have teleported, you and your friends will be able to build 4 types of honor buildings next to the center.

These 4 types are:

  1. Institute of the virus: It gives you immunity to poison, which will allow you to capture higher level points without suffering losses and heals your poisoned troops
  2. Processing Plant: It transforms infected materials into resources, virus samples and composite materials used to improve your buildings

  - Combat Command Post: It gives you more and more important bonuses by capturing territories

  1. Guardian Fortress: Increasing resistance

You do not have to build them next to your base, because you will be able to access them from a distance (such as the buildings inside your city). However, you will need to place it on a tile bordering one of your allies or center.

This is a Wendell looking like a hangman. To kill him, you will need about the same power strength as for a level 10 Wendell.

Notes:

  1. Every day you can kill 1 Wendell + 1 Referee to enjoy all the rewards. So do not forget to do it!
  2. Killing the Referee validates the daily quest to kill the clown

The world map has changed, there are now 5 additional resources:

  1. Sick cultures
  2. Sick wood
  3. Iron-ore
  4. Oil
  5. Dirty water

To obtain these resources, it will be necessary to conquer territories in the image of the resource. For example, in this image we can see an “iron ore” territory and a “sick wood” territory of level 1:

To conquer a territory, you must attack that territory with your TPB. You can attack a territory only if you or one of your alliance members has conquered one of the territories bordering on it. A territory conquered by an ally is surrounded by blue, a territory that you have conquered is surrounded by green.

For example here, I have the right to conquer these territories of sick wood because one of my allies conquered one of the bordering territories:

You can not conquer land already conquered by an ally, but you can attack one of the territories of another alliance if it is bordering on one of your alliances. Needless to say, your enemy will be able to capture all your areas if you do not defend them.

A territory is said to border when it has a common border with another territory. This rule also works for tiles where the angle of the square of the tile touches another territory. For example, here I have the right to conquer this wastewater:

Notes:

  1. To capture a level 2 territory, you must first have captured a Level 1 territory of any type
  2. To reach certain higher level territories, you will sometimes have to conquer several neighboring tiles
  3. As you can capture a territory next to an ally, avoid capturing an interesting territory when your ally is creating a path to it, it may not take it well … Be respectful!

At the beginning of the event, you are very limited in number of territories. To consult the number of territories that you can occupy, click on the icon of the event at the top right and consult this count:

Here, I can conquer a maximum of 31 territories. I conquered 25 in my state, and 0 in the opponent state. Empty territories bring you back some sick crops. They can be useful at the beginning of the event to collect some resources, but it is better to abandon them (as well as the low-level territories) as soon as possible because of the limit of territory. It is better to keep the territories that bring you resources of a high level.

Last point: when you have at least 1 territory to resource, resources are not collected alone (as for wheat in your city), you must click a button to harvest all your resources. To do this, go to the tab “Territory” and click down on the button “Harvest”, and there: Jackpot!

That's it, you now have everything in hand to conquer your territories, your resources, and thus acquire the precious points of honor!

It allows you to heal your troops and better withstand the infection. The more territory you attack with a high level, the greater the chance of losing troops. By improving this building, you improve your resistance, so you will have fewer losses, and take less time to heal your units.

Notes: When you attack a territory, your units do not die and do not go to the infirmary of your city. They are poisoned, so you have to go through the virus institute if you want to cure them.

At the beginning of the event, it is one of the 2 buildings to improve in order to quickly conquer territories level 4 and 5.
It transforms the resources of your territories into traditional resources (wood, water …) + building materials (virus samples, composite materials). It is very important that this building produce continuously as soon as you start harvesting your first resources because the production time is horribly long.

You will need to quickly improve this building early in the event to be able to produce enough building materials, which will be a limiting factor to your progress.

Notes
- You can interrupt a production and resume another production without loss of resource
- In case of improvement of the building while a production is in progress, it is necessary to stop and restore the production to profit production speed improvement
It boosts your attack, whether for territorial battles or to defeat the building of another alliance. It becomes interesting to improve this building when the alliance battles begin.
It is the defensive counterpart of the previous building: it boosts your defense in a general way.

They represent your level of progress in the event. They can be earned in many ways by actively participating:

  1. Conquer territories
  2. Complete daily goals
  3. Kill Bosses …

Regularly monitor your inventory to use items that allow you to add honor points to the count.

The count of your points is visible in the “Specialty” tab of the event.

The more points you earn, the more levels you unlock. At each level, you get skill points that allow you to unlock abilities that match your playing style, based on 3 skill trees.

There are 3 skill trees:

  1. Green: Resource Expert: Allows you to get more resources
  2. Blue: building expert: allows you to improve your buildings faster
  3. Red: Combat Expert: Allows you to attack more effectively

At the beginning of the game, it is strongly recommended to improve the blue competence “Improvement of transformation” to increase the speed of the processing plant and thus get your first materials faster. Then, free to adapt the tree that you will use the most, but you will also quickly unlock the blue skill “Building Master” to unlock the level 2 buildings (combat command and guardian).

It represents the power of the areas of territory that you own

  1. The more territories you have, the more influence you have
  2. The more a territory in your possession has a high level, the more influence it brings

Your influence score is compared to all players in your state. A ranking is thus done 3 times a day, every 8 hours. According to this ranking, you earn a certain amount of money according to your place. Remember to collect your reward 3 times a day to win a maximum of greenbacks! This option is logically accessible from the “Territory” tab:

As a reminder, to donate Peter to the alliance, go to the alliance menu and select the “Building” icon:

Then click at the top of the screen on “Donate”

The gift of stone is the major element of this event: the whole alliance must participate. Without donations, you will never be able to build the covenant centers and conquer the central lands.

Stone donations are recorded in the Guild Information screen, under the “Member Records” tab.

They have 2 major interests:

  1. GLOBAL INTEREST: It is thanks to the stones that your alliance will be able to build the centers of alliance
  2. PERSONAL INTEREST: The more stones you give, the better your reward will be at the end of the week. The ranking of the best donors is visible on the “Season” tab of the event, then clicking on “Alliance Intel”

A war of the Apocalypse can be declared to other alliances of similar rank to your alliance in the Season rankings. Any R4 or R5 can declare war once the countdown has begun, which is the resetting of the game on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

The R4 and R5 can set up rally points in the enemy state that allow players to teleport for free into the enemy state and then return to their original state. A number of collection points can be created based on the number of Alliance Centers you have placed. A rally point defines a location from which you can start capturing territories.

When war is declared, you start with a preparation phase that lasts 6 hours. No points can be scored, but you can configure your attack strategy and place rally points.

After the preparation phase, the war phase begins and you score points for the capture of enemy territories, the destruction of their structures of honor and their centers of alliance. There is a score modifier based on the number of alliance centers created by your alliance, the more CAs you have, the more points you score.

At the end of the duel, the alliance with the most points wins a percentage of the points of the other alliances. This becomes the main way to increase your ranking in the event.

There is a secondary victory condition when one of the parties no longer has an Alliance center, a 30-minute countdown begins. When this process is complete, if no Alliance Center has been rebuilt, an Instant Defeat is declared, regardless of the points.

At the end of the final event, alliance centers, honor structures and territories are reset, but not specializations. You will keep the specializations that you have selected during the next season, so spend them wisely.

All troops at the hospital will be returned to you without paying the healing fee at the end of the event. Miraculous healing!

The event is followed by a succession of quests. Try to finish as much as you can to collect all the rewards.
